Mike Davis was born in California but spent his formative years in South London and Bournemouth in the UK.
In his early twenties, he set off on an international odyssey that saw him living in France, Kuwait, Malaysia, Ghana, Denmark, the USA, Abu Dhabi, and other shorter stays around the globe.
While living in Africa, he became the figurative frog who married a literal Ghanaian princess, and for the last 30 years, they have been fortunate to indulge their collective itchy feet, often to their daughter's dismay.
Mike recently unplugged from the international construction industry and moved with his wife and their adopted Staffy mix, Taz, down to Costa Rica, where he is refocusing on writing fiction rather than claim documents and expert reports.
Stepping Off, included as the lead short story in the anthology "Love and Sacrifice" published by Zen Publishing, was also produced as an audio file, read by Doug Bradley, who played ‘Pinhead' in the Hellraiser movies.
