Author Description

Doğup büyüdüğü Ankara’da ilahiyat, New York’taysa çağdaş sanat ve felsefe eğitimi aldı. Çeşitli dergilerde hermenötik ve fenomenoloji, postmodern felsefe ve edebiyat teorisine katkılarda bulundu. 2020 yılında “Metne Dokunmak, Dokunan Metinler: Okumanın Bedensel Hermenötiği” başlıklı teziyle, yüksek lisansını da yaptığı SUNY Stony Brook Üniversitesi Felsefe bölümünden doktora derecesini aldı. 2021 yılında Khōra Mekân Çalışmaları’nı kurdu. 2020 yılından bu yana Hitit Üniversitesi Felsefe ve Din Bilimleri bölümünde öğretim üyesi olarak, 2024’ten itibaren ise Boston College Felsefe bölümünde misafir öğretim üyesi olarak görev yapmaktadır. Çalışmaları edebi ve felsefi hermenötik, okuma teorileri, beden ve mekân fenomenolojisi, mantık ve estetik alanlarında yoğunlaşıyor.<br />...<br />He studied divinity in Ankara and contemporary art and philosophy in New York. He has contributed to various journals on hermeneutics and phenomenology, postmodern philosophy and literary theory. In 2020, with his doctoral thesis entitled “Touching the Text, the Touching Texts: The Carnal Hermeneutics of Reading”, he received his Ph.D. degree in Philosophy from SUNY Stony Brook University. In 2021, he founded Khōra: Interdisciplinary Studies for Place and Space. Since 2020, he has been a faculty member in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Hitit University, and since 2024 he has been a visiting scholar in the Philosophy Department at Boston College. His research focuses on literary and philosophical hermeneutics, theories of reading, phenomenology of body and place, logic and aesthetics.
